Who is runXYZ?

runXYZ was founded by Dr. Jennifer Kornelsen. Dr. Kornelsen has decades of experience in multi-disciplinary research including graduate training in psychology, a doctoral degree in neurophysiology, and a postdoctoral fellowship in systems neuroscience at Stanford University. Following five years as an Associate Researcher at the National Research Council Canada’s Institute for Biodiagnostics Dr. Kornelsen joined the University of Manitoba in her current position in the Department of Radiology, with adjunct appointments in Physiology and Pathophysiology and Psychology.

What services are offered by runXYZ?

Through runXYZ, Dr. Kornelsen consults with clients on social sciences and health research and assists with formulating research questions, developing study design, and running statistical analyses. runXYZ also provides data analysis services for structural and functional MRI data. How much do runXYZ’s services cost?

An estimate is provided following consultation regarding project specifics. Costs vary considerably based on the services desired, the complexity of the study design, and the volume of data to be analyzed. Contact runXYZ and we can discuss your research needs.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payment may be made via an institutional financial department, via electronic bank transfer, or by cheque.

How do runXYZ’s clients benefit?

Communities of service, practitioners, and clinicians are often short on time and resources, and find that outsourcing can significantly expand their own capacities. Academics appreciate the expediency with which results are available for publication. Industry is served by the inclusion of valuable, unbiased third party perspective and the prospect of significant cost-savings that can accrue from outsourcing.

Does runXYZ offer workshops?

Yes! runXYZ can hold workshops at your institution. Half-day to multi-day hands-on workshops are tailored to your needs. Workshops on basic research methodology and study design, as well as workshops on neuroimaging data analysis methodology, basic preprocessing, and software-specific analysis, are available. [Note: Workshops are currently unavailable due to COVID restrictions.]
